Hi! I’m Bárbara Costa, an illustrator and designer who loves to create!
I love creating with my hands, exploring textures, and combining colors and contrasts. I communicate through images and have a special fondness for illustrating animals and cute little things. In my free time, I enjoy drawing the food I come across.
I have a degree in Communication and Multimedia from the State University of Maringá (UEM). In 2019, I received the Maria da Penha Award as an emerging illustrator. Since then, I’ve been developing projects that move between editorial illustration, design, and personal work.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with publishers, artists, magazines, and cultural projects, including Som Livre, Companhia das Letras, Editora Abril, Editora Movimenta, and Editora Violeta.
